Exercise is the Best Way to Achieve Permanent Weight Loss |

Permanent weight loss is something we all long for, and for some, it is easier than others, especially those who enjoy exercising. My sister is an outdoor fanatic, and it's nothing for her to run 3 miles a day, bicycle 10, and swim 2 miles. She lives to work out, and I just marvel at how she can do that. Throughout her life, she has tried to achieve permanent weight loss, and has finally achieved it now by the frenetic workout schedule she keeps. It would exhaust me to even try to do a quarter of what she does every day. At one time she was into personal training programs, and they did help her to lose a few pounds, but now, with her cycling/swimming/running routines in the summer, and her hiking and skiing in the winter, she has finally managed to maintain her weight at a normal and healthy level. But, whew, what a price. It would be torture at best for most of us to keep up that kind of a grueling daily exercise level. |
