You Don't Walk Fat Off Your Body! |

I was reading a forum post on a popular health and fitness site and how people were claiming to walk "x" times per week and melt fat off their body. It is one thing for the non-fitness professional to make these claims, but there were posts from people claiming to be in the industry - and saying walking will melt fat off your body...
Not much fat.
Staying away from saturated fat will get fat off your body. Weight training to build muscle will get fat off your body. Burning significant calories on a regular basis will get fat off your body.
The problem with walking to reduce body fat is just the simple fact that you don't burn enough calories unless you are walking a marathon - who has time or could physically do that on a regular basis?
So if you are looking to burn fat - Eat Good, Train Hard...you will get there.
