Why do people put so little value in taking care of their body?  They have their body for life, but fitness training, proper meal planning, and general maintenance seem to get put to the side on a daily basis!
How about a new car?  We all take care of a new car, right? 
  • Make sure we don't work the engine too hard
  • Get regular oil changes
  • Keep it clean with regular washes - And then we even drive around puddles to avoid getting it muddy!
  • Detail the interior and keep dirt from staining the upholstery
So why do we concentrate so hard on all material things in our life, and ignore the most important "machine" we own?  Too busy?  Take our body for granted?  Probably a little bit of both, but try to make a conscious effort to do a few "tune-ups" for your body this year:
  • Get regular physicals with your doctor
  • Take pride in proper meal planning
  • Start a fitness training regimen or be more consistent with the one you have
  • Take a Multi-Vitamin daily
If you don't have your health, what do you really have?  Take pride in body maintenance!
