Everyone wants to get rid of extra fat...maybe it is you inner thighs?  Butt?  Upper Back?  Love Handles?  Whatever spot you want to tackle, I have the "exercise plan" that will ensure a toned body!!

1. "Push" the saturated fat out of your meal plans.  This is the bad fat that causes a spike in cholesterol and weighs you down in your trouble spots as stored fat!  Read your labels, and for optimum nutrition look not only for low saturated fat, but mono- and poly-unsaturated fats (they are the good ones).

2.  "Stretch" your calories throughout the day.  A lot of people make the mistake of not eating all day and then come home and raid the pantry!  Or just rely on 2 meals a day to fulfill their needs.  If you can take the calories you need each day and at least divide them over 4 meals (more if realistic), you will keep your metabolism up and keep your hunger pangs down.

3.  "Raise" more glasses of water to your mouth!   We are a coffee-driven, energy-drink-laden society who love foods high in sodium - A recipe for dehydration.  Not to mention most people don't put enough water in their body.  I recommend getting at least 80oz of water per day, and depending on various factors (weather, diet, exercise level, etc), it is probably best to shoot for 100+ oz per day!

4.  "Chop" dairy out of your diet".   Aside from the fact that most dairy products are high in fat, sugar or both...reason alone...the majority of people are allergic to dairy in some form.  Most not to the point of even noticing or relating it to dairy...but it does affect them daily!  It may be a feeling of tiredness, a chronic cough, or just a stuffy nose all of the time - get dairy out and I guarantee you will feel better!

5.  "Lift" your protein intake levels.  Muscles are made of protein, and if you are following a fitness training program you need to get your protein levels up for optimum nutrition.  I recommend 1g/pound of body weight.

So, while lunges, squats, dips, and crunches will also help you get there - Try the above "exercise plan" as well and I guarantee your success!!!
