You Can't Achieve Permanent Weight Loss Through Crash Diets |

What is the secret of permanent weight loss? Personally I have never lost a drastic amount of weight in my life, largely because I haven’t gained a huge amount of weight to lose. My weight has been the same (give or take a couple of pounds) since I became an adult. Nevertheless, I’ve read enough about permanent weight loss to know that you will not achieve it via a crash diet. I’ve noticed some very strange online diet plans that I would not recommend trying. For example, the lemonade diet doesn’t seem like such a good idea to me, despite the fact that many Hollywood celebrities use it to lose pounds fast before a big event. The maple syrup diet that Beyonce tried in order to lose twenty pounds for a movie role seems equally as faddish. The key to permanent weight loss is to get rid of the extra pounds slowly via healthy eating and exercise that you enjoy doing. Losing surplus pounds slowly and healthily is the only way to guarantee permanent weight loss. If you lose too much too quickly it messes up your metabolism and you end up putting all of the weight back on. You can also lose lean muscle mass, which means you end up with unattractive loose skin. If you wish to achieve permanent weight loss, take a sensible approach. For the best results, enroll on one of the countless available personal training programs so that you can receive professional advice and mentoring from someone with experience.
