Blog Series: Fitness Training Essentials - "Don't Leave Any Parts Out!" |

We all have areas of our body that we like to work more...or need to work more in our fitness training routines - BUT no body part should be left out! As a general rule, bigger muscles groups (legs, chest, back, shoulders) need more attention, and smaller groups (biceps, triceps, calves) need less repetitions.
Fitness training routines should consist of balanced amount of sets and repetitions based on the muscle size. You have to remember, all muscles are related to each other, and working all of them will benefit the body as a whole. If you work the legs, it makes the rest of your body parts stronger, AND because it is the largest muscle group - it increases your metabolism greatly! Working your abs/core during your fitness training routine again, helps all body parts by creating a stronger, more stable body.
I am not telling you to hold off on doing calves if you want nice calves, just don't leave out any body parts during your fitness training routine to do extra calves!
